MotoDex

How many motorcycles have you ridden?

Most riders can't answer that. MotoDex is your personal collection of every bike you've ridden, test ridden, loved or owned — and the quiet engine behind better recommendations.

Rate in five seconds

A rating you'll actually fill in

Five criteria, one question at the end: would you own it? That's all. It takes less time than posting about the ride, and it's what makes your Rider DNA real.

  • Emotion, sound, handling, engine, comfort — plus optional ones like track, touring or beginner friendly
  • Add a personal note: where you rode it, what surprised you
  • Your ratings are yours; sharing is a choice, not a default
  • Every rating sharpens what Bike Match suggests next

Every bike has a state

The bikes you want to ride, the ones you've ridden, and the ones that ended up in your garage are all part of the same collection.

  • Want to ride

The wish list. The bikes you'd say yes to without asking the price.

  • Ridden & test ridden

The core of the collection: every bike you've actually sat on and moved.

  • Loved & want to own

The ones that stayed with you afterwards — the shortlist your next Bike Match starts from.

  • Owned & previously owned

Your garage, past and present. Bikes you sold stay in the collection with their history.

Collections

Collections worth completing

Panigales, the Japanese Big Four, adventure bikes, naked bikes, the Ducati lineup. Not points, not levels — real motorcycles you either have or haven't ridden yet.

  • Progress that means something: it only moves when you actually ride
  • Discover bikes you'd never have looked up on your own
  • Compare collections with friends without turning it into a leaderboard
  • No XP, no streaks, nothing that punishes you for a rainy month

Rode a friend's bike? Scan it in.

Every owner has a QR code for their bike. Scanning it takes the awkwardness out of "send me the details later" — and gets the bike into your MotoDex before you take your gloves off.

  • Scan the owner's code

The bike, the year and the spec are already filled in. No typing in a parking lot.

  • I rode this bike

It lands in your MotoDex as ridden. You can rate it later, when you're off the bike.

  • Or just: want to ride

Not your turn today? Save it to the wish list and it shows up in your next Bike Match.

Questions

About MotoDex

Is MotoDex the name of the company?

No. MotoDex is one feature of the platform — your personal motorcycle collection. The company name is something else, and we'll announce it when it's decided.

Is my collection public?

Only if you want it to be. Your ratings and notes are private by default; a shareable rider profile is something you switch on.

Does it count bikes I only sat on?

That's your call — there are separate states for ridden and test ridden. Most riders keep the bar at "I moved it under its own power".
