About us
A platform for your life with motorcycles
We're building the thing every rider improvises: somewhere to work out which bike is right, to buy it without getting burned, and to keep the story of every bike you ride.
Why we're building this
Buying a used motorcycle is one of the least supported major purchases there is. You compare a listing in one tab, a forum thread in another and a price guide in a third, you ask a friend who owned that model eight years ago, and then you drive two hours to look at a bike you don't quite know how to assess.
So we started there: find the right bike, evaluate the listing, ask the right questions, compare candidates, know the real costs, inspect it properly and negotiate with actual numbers. That's the wedge — the part where a single good decision is worth more than the product costs.
But buying is one week of a relationship that lasts years. The bikes you've ridden, the ones you loved, the chain you lubed last Sunday and the road you keep going back to are the actual life with motorcycles. That's why MotoDex, My Garage, Rider DNA and ride suggestions are part of the plan and not an afterthought.
The name isn't decided yet — you'll see [BRAND] on this site until it is. What is decided is who it's for: riders, from a 16-year-old's first 125 to someone with four bikes in the garage.
How we build
Four decisions that shape everything else.
Show the reasoning, not just the score
A Buy Score without an explanation is a number you can't act on. Every assessment shows what it's based on, so you can disagree with it.
Honest about limits
We don't replace a mechanic, we don't guarantee a valuation, and when something needs a professional we say so.
AI is plumbing, not identity
You'll see match percentages, Buy Scores and suggested offers — not a chatbot demanding to be talked to. The technology should be invisible.
Built for every rider
A scooter for a commute and a superbike for a Sunday are both real motorcycling. Nothing here is written only for one of them.
What we're not building
Being clear about this early is how the product stays good at what it does.
Not a navigation app
Calimoto and Kurviger are excellent at turn-by-turn. We answer the question before that: where should I ride today? Then we hand you over.
Not a listings portal
We don't host listings and we don't want to. Your candidates, questions and comparisons are the part that's worth keeping.
Not a social network
Shareable rider profiles and a friend's QR code, yes. A feed with likes, no.
